NRR Advantages:

• Nissan UD 2000 is a heavy truck with its heavy 6-cylinder engine. It weighs approximately 1200 lb. more than the NRR for any comparable wheelbase. Isuzu's lighter weight results in better fuel efficiency and 1200 pound higher payloads
  
• Nissan UD's higher weight is concentrated over the front axle, where it weighs approximately 1000 lb. more than Isuzu. Combined with the lighter weight front springs, Nissan UD 2000 may not be suitable for vocational loads with heavy front axle loading
  
• Available Vehicle Health Reports allows Isuzu fleet to monitor drivers and vehicle service needs. Not available on Nissan UD
  
• Isuzu uses a hydraulic disc/drum braking system for maximum braking performance. Nissan UD has an air-over-hydraulic all-drum braking system that requires an air compressor and pressure tank.
  
• Isuzu has 14.3-inch disc front brakes, compared with the 12.6-inch drum front brakes on Nissan UD. For the same payload, the Isuzu braking system will be stopping 1200 pounds less weight, because of the lighter weight of the Isuzu truck
  
• 6-speed automatic transmission on Isuzu has additional ratio for improved performance and fuel economy, compared with UD's 5-speed automatic
  
• Rear shock absorbers contribute to greater control and less damage to loads (not available on 1800HD)
  Available limited slip differential expands applications suited to Isuzu. Not available on Nissan UD
  
• Standard 3-passenger seating on Isuzu. Nissan UD charges extra for a center seat
